COUNSELING QUESTIONNAIRE (OPTIONAL)
We know that dealing with an unplanned pregnancy can be difficult. Talking with a trained counselor can help sort through feelings, clarify the decision, and ease anxiety. Pre-abortion counseling, non-directive options counseling, and one session of post-abortion counseling are offered at no charge for patients, parents and partners.

Support Persons
If you bring someone with you to support you through this experience, that person may accompany you throughout the consultation visit if you request it. Because of liability and security issues, however, that person cannot accompany you in surgery or recovery. We require that your driver wait for you in the waiting room in case of an emergency. If your support person would like to speak with a counselor privately, notify our receptionist.
Outreach programs
AWC counselors are available to present programs at schools and other agencies about contraception, STD and HIV prevention, or pregnancy. Please call for more information.
