The Allentown Women's Center is a specialized facility providing high quality comprehensive health services for women. AWC utilizes a new health delivery model treating the total woman throughout her life cycle, focusing on disease prevention and health promotion. This woman-centered care, utilizing gentle, female nurse practitioners, offers access to quality, affordable health services for women, by women.
Services include routine physicals and gynecological exams, birth control counseling, diaphragms, Depo-Provera, IUD insertion, pregnancy testing, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, HIV testing and counseling, treatment for abnormal Pap smears, and counseling services.
If you would like to be a new patient, please print out this page and bring it to our Center - we will give you $10 off the price of a routine yearly gynecological exam (this is for new patients only and does not apply to abortion services).

Our Nurse Practitioners and caring Physicians are gentle, knowledgeable and take the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions.
HIV Testing and counseling is available by appointment for $40. Testing is confidential. Pre- and post- test counseling is administered by a certified test counselor. Results are available within 4 days. Referrals can be provided for free testing.

Call any weekday after 9:00 a.m. or Saturday between 9-2 for information or to schedule an appointment for any service. Usually we can see you within a week of calling and waiting time in our office is minimal. We try our best to make appointments fit with your schedule. Fees and Payment
We offer reduced fees for students and patients without insurance. We participate with Pennsylvania Blue Shield, Keystone Health Plan Central, Aetna, Independence Blue Cross, AmeriHealth, and other insurance plans. If we do not participate with your insurance plan, we will provide you with an itemized statement so your insurance company will reimburse you. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Debit cards.
