LGBTQIA Health and Wellness 

The Allentown Women's Center understands that lesbian, bisexual, and queer women, as well as trans* and intersex persons too often experience unique barriers when it comes to receiving reproductive health care. At AWC, we embrace a holistic approach to health and wellness, and strongly believe that education and support are vital to a person's ability to make health care decisions. AWC is pleased to offer culturally-sensitive, safe and affordable gynecological services to all LGBTQIA individuals.

AWC currently offers annual physical exams including lower and pelvic exams, HPV testing, chest exams, ultrasounds, STI screenings, and lab work as needed. In addition, we provide prescriptions to gender variant patients interested in menstrual suppression and hormone therapy.
