Individual Counseling and Post-Abortion Support Groups

Alexandra Milspaw, M.Ed.

Alex received her Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology and Human Services from Lehigh University. She is also a Certified NLP Practicioner, including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). She is a doctoral candidate at Widener University in the field of Human Sexuality. Alex has been running women-focused empowerment and self-healing workshops for over four years. Alex has over 5 years experience in sexual violence crisis counseling, intervention and prevention education, through Break the Silence at Lehigh University's Women's Center. Alex began as a volunteer escort six years ago and recently became a reproductive health counselor at The Allentown Women's Center. She is also available for affordable individual and family counseling.

Kirsten Kratzer

Kirsten has been a counselor at the Allentown Women's Center for over 3 years and plays an active role in community outreach events. She is the Counseling and Outreach Associate, Adoption Specialist, and Essure Permanent Sterilization Coordinator. Kirsten has extensive training in Options Counseling, Judicial Bypasses, birth control education, and is a certified HIV and AIDS counselor through the Pennsylvania Department of Health. She also attends national conferences pertaining to reproductive justice on a yearly basis. She is currently attending Western International University obtaining her degree in Behavioral Science with a concentration in counseling.

 

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

$55/session

Appointments available most Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons, as well as Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Workshops for Women

Mission: To empower, strengthen, and heal the spirits, hearts, minds and bodies of women and girls through the efforts of creative expression. Welcoming all regardless of race, class, economic stratification, political beliefs or organization, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation. The intention is to offer a place that will elevate the level of consciousness, well-being, peace, clarity, love, happiness, and wholeness to all women and girls.

Purpose: To create a safe, supportive environment for women and girls to creatively express themselves through the spoken and written word, art, music, and movement. Workshops motivate and empower women and girls to explore their inner thoughts and feelings in an effort to build a stronger community and sense of self.
