Pregnancy terminations at AWC are provided by state licensed gynecologists who have had years of experience performing abortions. We have both female and male physicians, who are gentle and compassionate. They will do their best to make you as comfortable as possible during the procedure.
Allentown Women's Center has non-judgmental counselors who listen and can help you sort through feelings, discuss you concerns, clarify your decision, and ease your anxiety. We have Masters and Bachelors level counselors on staff and all of our counselors are specially trained in abortion and options counseling.
Our Gyn and follow-up care services are provided by female nurse practitioners who are caring, gentle, and well-qualified to provide exceptional care. They take the time to listen and answer questions objectively and compassionately. They make sure that you fully understand your treatment and medication, while helping you reach decisions that are right for you.
There is always a staff person on-call 24-hours a day, seven days a week to help you if you have a medical emergency. Our staff is very familiar with what can happen after an abortion and can quickly help you with any problems.
The Allentown Women's Center has OB/GYN back up at two local hospitals. Many private physicians, hospitals and Planned Parenthood offices refer their patients to our center.
